Drying Made Easy
Fruits
For fruit drying, Beltomatic batch tray dryers provide uniform air distribution and carefully controlled heat to protect natural sugars, color, and flavor. Sliced fruit is evenly spread on trays to promote consistent airflow across the product surface. Gradual moisture removal prevents scorching and maintains structural integrity, resulting in visually appealing, shelf-stable dried fruit with consistent moisture content from batch to batch.
Jerky
Beltomatic batch tray dryers are ideal for jerky production, delivering precise temperature control and consistent horizontal airflow to ensure safe, uniform drying. Marinated meat strips are arranged on trays to allow proper air circulation, while controlled heat and exhaust management remove moisture efficiently without over-drying. The integrated control system helps maintain critical food safety parameters, producing high-quality jerky with the desired texture, flavor retention, and extended shelf life.
Vegetables
Our batch tray dryers gently remove moisture from vegetables using controlled, recirculated horizontal airflow to ensure even drying across every tray. Fresh-cut vegetables are loaded onto stainless steel trays and placed into the insulated chamber, where precisely regulated temperature and airflow gradually reduce moisture while preserving color, flavor, and nutritional value. Adjustable humidity exhaust prevents case hardening and supports consistent texture, producing high-quality dried vegetables suitable for snacks, ingredients, or long-term storage.
Fruit Leathers
Fruit leathers require gentle, even drying to achieve flexibility without brittleness. Beltomatic batch tray dryers circulate controlled, recirculated air evenly across puree spread on lined trays, gradually removing moisture while preserving natural flavor and color. Adjustable temperature and humidity control prevent cracking or uneven drying, resulting in smooth, pliable fruit leathers with consistent thickness and moisture throughout the batch.
Pet Treats
Beltomatic batch tray dryers are ideal for drying pet treats by delivering uniform, recirculated heated airflow evenly across each tray to ensure consistent moisture reduction without case hardening or scorching. Raw formed treats are loaded onto stainless steel trays and placed into the insulated drying chamber, where controlled horizontal airflow passes across the product surface and through the bed. Using gas, steam, or electric heat sources, temperature and airflow are precisely regulated through the integrated control system to gradually remove moisture while maintaining shape, texture, and nutritional integrity.
Dried Pulps
For drying fruit or vegetable pulp, Beltomatic batch tray dryers provide efficient moisture reduction while maintaining product integrity for reuse in fiber supplements, animal feed, or food ingredients. Pulp is spread evenly across trays to maximize surface exposure, and recirculated heated airflow ensures uniform drying. Controlled exhaust and moisture monitoring allow operators to reach targeted moisture levels efficiently, converting byproduct streams into stable, value-added materials.
